KEY SPECIES: The Yabotí Biosphere Reserve is home to 116 mammal species, 548 bird species, 124 amphibian species and 222 fish species. Species found in the area include the Brazilian Merganser (Critically Endangered); Black-fronted Piping Guan (Endangered); Giant Otter (Endangered); Giant Anteater (Near Threatened); Jaguar (Near Threatened); Maned Wolf (Near Threatened); Tiger Cat (Near Threatened); and Harpy Eagle (Near Threatened);
HABITAT: Paranaense Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica / Interior Atlantic Forest);
THREATS: Logging and clearing for cattle grazing;
